Pınar, the pioneer of bottled water sector, performs the filling process by Class 100 isolator and clean room system, which is the most advanced technology in the world, at the most modern water facilities in Turkey. In clean room system that provides hygienic conditions with world standards, water is filled in the machines in the filling room where entrance of air from outside is prevented by keeping under positive pressure of sterile air and the air is continuously cleaned. Filling machines are located in special sections isolated particularly within production areas. A Class 100 clean room system is established on each filling machine and these systems enable bottles to contact only with fresh air during their journey in washing-filling-capping period. The reason why clean rooms are considered independently for each machine is that the system can be supervised easily and a more effective effect is achieved. The possible airborne contamination risks in the process of production have been minimized under these ultra hygienic conditions created at the facilities where water is bottled in its purest form without any disruptions of its natural structure at its spring and without any changes in its mineral balance.
Class 100 means that less than 100 particles are counted in the medium when 1 feet3 of air is filtered by a HEPA filter of 0.5 microns, and corresponds to Class A in the classification in accordance with “international good manufacturing practices”. Class A is defined as the highest class according to GMP which is indispensable for food and pharmaceutical industries.
